ΕΞΑΓΟΡΑ ΤΟΥ MAGENTO ΑΠΟ ΤΗΝ ADOBE
Adobe και Magento ανακοίνωσαν σήμερα την εξαγορά του Magento από την Adobe.
Με αυτή τη συναλλαγή, η Adobe επεκτείνει το χαρτοφυλάκιο προϊόντων και υπηρεσιών στο ψηφιακό εμπόριο. Θα έχει μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον να παρακολουθήσουμε τον τρόπο με τον οποίο τα προϊόντα του Magento θα ενσωματωθούν στον κόσμο της Adobe. Το Magento βασίζεται σε ενεργές κοινότητες προγραμματιστών και χρηστών παγκοσμίως. Η δωρεάν έκδοση του Magento “Community” είναι ένα από τα βασικά στοιχεία της επιτυχίας του Magento. Αναμένεται ότι η Adobe έχει μια σαφή κατανόηση του τι σημαίνει Open Source μέσα και πώς να ασχοληθεί με τις κοινότητες. Το πνεύμα της “συμβολής και ανταλλαγής” του Magento θα ενισχύσει και θα δώσει ώθηση στις δραστηριότητες του Adobe Open Source.

Converge Looking back and forward into 2018
Another year has past and what a challenging year it has been for us!
What have we accomplished?

- Converge has been investing a lot of time and effort into learning and customizing the new kid on the eCommerce block called Magento 2. ( what a Kid! ) We are very proud to have launched two sites on Magento 2 and eager for the upcoming launches.
- Also, this year was a battle trying to balance eShop Support and New projects on Magento2. It is a continuous challenge to reach the optimization of service to both sides. In this journey, a lot of processes and old habits are changing and we are looking into a great collaborative future with our clients.

Post Meet-Magento event
What a week it was!
I am personally still trying to recover and I have been meaning to write about our fantastic presentations and give you all a nice wrap-up for days now, so at last, here we are….
What a challenge it was this year for Converge to host the 3rd Meet Magento Greece Event in two cities, starting from the north on the 11th October in Thessaloniki and on the 12th in Athens.
We are thrilled to have overpassed our expectations with attendees counting 60 in Thessaloniki and close to 200 in Athens with the support of wonderful sponsors and a great vibe in general. Read More

Converge as a Meet Magento Organizer loves to take part in other Meet Magento events around the World. That’s what it is all about! So the first ever Meet Magento China is over, and so is the jet lag. The event, part of the Shenzhen International eCommerce Expo was a great success and congratulations to the organizer Pangoo for doing a great job with over 800 attendees and awesome speakers from all over the world, and Greece!
Taking part and speaking at the first ever Meet Magento China event in Shenzhen was for ne a very interesting experience that I would like to share with you.
