Another year has past and what a challenging year it has been for us!
What have we accomplished?
- Converge has been investing a lot of time and effort into learning and customizing the new kid on the eCommerce block called Magento 2. ( what a Kid! ) We are very proud to have launched two sites on Magento 2 and eager for the upcoming launches.
- Also, this year was a battle trying to balance eShop Support and New projects on Magento2. It is a continuous challenge to reach the optimization of service to both sides. In this journey, a lot of processes and old habits are changing and we are looking into a great collaborative future with our clients.
- We organized the Bestest and Largest so far Meet Magento Greece in two cities with more than 250 attendees and a lot of Magic and learnings.
- I know It is usually all about Magento but we also do other things too !! We have built and sent more than 300 email campaigns for clients bringing us closer to outlook, Yahoo, and other email clients than ever before
And what about Magento?
Magento2 is earning more and more ground even though it has a long way to finding the stable state of Magento1. This led Magento to prolong the support for Magento1 until June 2020 instead of 2018 that was the initial thought.
Magento though is becoming stronger If you consider the $250M investment for Asian market expansion that they secured and being listed as a Leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce earlier this year which shows that it will remain a big league player.
So where do we see Converge in the following months?
Our opportunity is now to exploit our proven track record and be the solid development agency offering high-quality services that the merchants need.
